So last night wasn’t the first time they have thrown a party waking me up at 1:30am. So i did the only other thing I knew to do. I called the cops. They were supposed to come over and talk to them but I’m not so sure they did. I saw their car drive by a few times but I’m not sure they actually stopped. Around 2am everything seemed to calm down. So i fell asleep again. Then at 3:40am they were back at it. So today I’ll make another call to my landlord I guess. I’m so frustrated and not really sure what to do. I could start being th obnoxiously loud neighbor in the morning after their parties but then it would just add fuel to the fire.
Does anyone have any great ideas?

I understand the neighbor issue completely! After seeing my first neighbor arrested several times and then having my house broken into by the next followed closely by a stabbing in my driveway I understand why this is frustrating to you! If you want to make it end then you are going to have to be really insisten with the cops! Tell them that there is a party and you know that there are minors there and they should investigate. Sometimes though you have to be mean and that makes for a difficult neighbor relationship. Good luck!

Have you ever spoken with them personally? If not, then you NEED to do that. If you don’t confront someone about a problem you’re having with them, but are seeking people above them to change it, then you’re just being a jerk. Maybe you’ve spoken with them since spring break, I don’t know, but I do know that it needs to happen before you do anything else.
