On January 25 we will kick off the Gospel Journey Maui from Dare 2 Share. We are really looking forward to the Journey this time around. This is going to be a great opportunity for our high school students to invite their friends to enter into discussion on faith and life. The longer I am in ministry the more I realize that people want to discussion faith issues. Each one of us were born with a condition where we are hard-wired to think of eternity. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says this,
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11
This has a huge implication for all of us. We are hard-wired to think of eternity and the impact that has on us. I think when we come to grasp (or realize this) it helps to take some pressure off of us in sharing the Gospel. According to Ecclesiastes 3:11 everyone is thinking about things of eternal value. This should help us in talking to people about things of eternal value then.
I am looking forward the the Gospel Journey Maui. I think it’s going to be a great 8-9 weeks.
